That the fashion world has now become aware of the urgent need to change its approach to the entire production system, is a fact. We can talk about a new paradigm that affects all aspects of the production chain but first of all the conceptual part, the way things are thought, told, sold.
In this, important help must also come from education, in particular from the academic world, with universities that organize courses and seminars to help sector operators, from designers to managers to service providers, not only to face change but also and especially to extend their knowledge and skills to encourage greater transparency, social justice and environmental innovation.
This is what ‘The new fashion paradigm’ proposes, the education course organized by the MODACULT Research Centre at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, which will take place in the new year, January 17th.
The course will impart an up-to-date understanding of design and production practices, circular business models, digital technologies in the supply chain process and in the marketing and communication approaches for a culture of respect.
Specifically, the participants will acquire knowledge and info about circular economy and sustainability principles, techniques and format for certification, opportunity and constraints of chemistry in order to fulfill the sustainability requirements.
Thanks to an innovative double formula, the course addresses two kind of trainees: young professionals looking for a content and experiential training on the impact of sustainability on the entire production chain and in the different company departments professionals of different company department, and self-employed consultants including buyers and communication managers, who look for an updated and cutting edge training on the sustainability implications for any of the company processes.
There will be blended training with lectures, conversations with testimonials, case studies, company visits, workshops, while a tutor will assist participants.
The registration deadline will be on 9th January, 2020. And for more info and details, here’s the link: https://centridiricerca.unicatt.it/modacult-corsi-the-new-fashion-paradigm
