Like last year, eco-à-porter also closes this year with a wish made by some of the protagonists that we had the honor and pleasure of hosting.

I thank them, not only for their availability but also and above all for the constant commitment and passion in creating and spreading the idea of an ethical fashion, which more than sustainable I like to call ‘responsible’, because it involves the awareness of each of us.

I believe it is from here, from this awareness and responsibility, that we have to start again, all the more so in this 2020 that opens a new decade of goals, challenges and changes aimed at the good of the Planet, alas much, too suffering.

So I leave you to the wishes of our guests and we find ourselves in the new year … tumble well, I recommend (from the German expression ‘guten Rutsch’, ‘good tumble’, which German people wish in the transition between old and new year).

“If I had just one wish, it would be for more kindness. If we could begin to apply kindness to the way we treat our planet, as well as each other, we’d be in a much better position to turn the climate crisis around. If I could have 17 wishes… I’d wish for the universal adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals.” (Clare Press)

We wish to inspire as much people as possible with our brand philosophy and raise awareness in the need of doing things different in a positive way.  If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem. Act now-Because there is no planet b! “ (Ecoalf)

“It is the heart that is important” a phrase that means a lot to me and my life and that I would like to give to everyone, with the wish of happy and peaceful holidays “. (Tiziano Guardini)

“We hope that 2020 will be a year of responsible choices: fashion needs to change its paradigms to respect the environment, workers and consumers #choosethechange”. (Womsh)

Often you do not know the best time to change your choices, but it is always the right time to respect the one who allows us to live: Nature. Best wishes for a truly sustainable 2020 from the Fortunale team!
